To grow old gracefully...not a chance!

I have been reading some of my favorite blogs today and after reading & watching a video over at  Evelyn's blog article Amazing 108 years old and healthy I started getting even more curious so, I started searching the web for more information on this subject and came across (I think) a really neat website by the name of Beautiful on Raw.

I have been very intrigued with the aging concept of eating raw and how amazing the people that eat only raw look, feel and age!  If stuff like this interest you and I am sure it does or you would not be reading my health blog, then mosey right on over to  Evelyn's blog...look around while you are visiting because she has a lot of inspiring stories that all coincide with eating raw and what it does and can do for you and me.

I know I am unusual, but hey, all I want ... is to look and feel young always. As long as I am alive I want to be "alive"!

I know it is doable if we want it bad enough. And yep you guessed it right... I do! On my journey I have found there are plenty of others that have already taken the steps to live life to the fullest and I am very proud of these wise wonderful people and the experiences they share with us not so wise...

So back to the Beautiful on Raw site I seen something I have found interesting...a book on exercising the facial muscles, I have always been paranoid about getting that saggy chin and want to keep it sharp looking by nature not the man made knife...ewe, never...right? Let's face it, I am 39 years old so I worry somewhat that someday I could be doomed with that "CHIN" it is bond to happen...smile! After all there has to be a way to keep it looking as good as the rest of our bodies. My philosophy is if we can exercise the muscles in our bodies why can't we exercise the muscles in our face and Tonya the lady that this website belongs to has some allot of interesting ideas...

She says on her site;

"Admittedly, facial exercise is a controversial topic. I found that, while long-term practitioners rave about the benefits, most doctors do not support facial exercises. Most dermatologists and cosmetic surgeons are against the program. Well, that’s understandable, I thought. It’s called a conflict of interest. Doctors are also not in favor of my 100% raw foods lifestyle. Since most of what I do to stay in great health goes against a doctor’s advice, I decided that was probably a plus for the exercises"

She say's allot of  things on her site that made complete sense to me. I have never met this lady. I just happened to come across her website today and she has reeled me in with her insite on a great topic. so I of course, being the sucker I am...smile! I purchased her book Rawsome Flex, hey it was only 30.00 with tax and I feel that is a small price to pay to have a great chin, I will let you know in the future if it becomes another investment into my health, aging, and fullness of life or NOT.

Make fun of me below as you wish, I am a big girl, so bring it!

      Evelyn, you and I think alike...smile!

      I Love everyone but when I find others that understand why it is so important to be open minded enough to make better decision when it comes to our health, I'm ecstatic!!!!  If we don't make the choice now and realize how very important now is, so we can start making a change now... the next generation is going to be worse off then this one! I for one want my son to pass on good health to his friends and family and hopefully it will go on down the line and  wide!!!!!!

      Yours in Health,
      Robin
