Eat, Drink & Exercise Everyday!

Why don’t we exercise?

Need help losing that excess weight? Exercise. Want to increase your energy level while reducing your stress level? Exercise. Want to maintain or increase your flexibility and improve your cardiovascular health? Exercise.

The impact that exercise has on both your physical and mental well-being is tremendous. Exercise can increase metabolism. improve digestion and sleep, lower blood pressure, improve cholesterol levels, help prevent or slow the progression of osteoporosis, increase mental alertness, strengthen muscles and bones, increase flexibility, improve stamina, reduce depression, and improve self-esteem. All of these benefits, and yet only 31% of Americans exercise regularly – and 40% of us don’t exercise at all.

Drink plenty of water every day!

One easy way to improve your health is to drink plenty of water: at least half your weight in ounces , or a minimum of eight unces a day, even more when you exercise or the weather is hot or dry.

Water is essential to good health because it is necessary to such important body functions as transporting nutrients, regulating body temperature, lubricating joints, cushioning organs, and eliminating wast. Too little water can lead to dehydration and symptoms such as headaches or fatigue. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to stay hydrated.

Proper hydration plays a role in not only how you feel but also how you look. Drinking the appropriate amount of water a day can promote weight loss and help improve your skin’s natural glow.

Reduce your stress level.

Stress affects your health, too, yet coping with day-to-day stress can be very challenging. Stress is a mental and physical state resulting from the perception that the demands on you are greater than your ability to meet then.

Improving your diet and regular exercise can help you better manage stress. Getting enough rest and relaxation is also very important. Be sure to set aside some quality time for yourself every day. A healthy stat of mind and a good night’s sleep are essential to better health.

Find balance – for you.

Obviously, the more positive changes you make in your life and the more quickly you make them, the faster you will improve your overall health and wellness. On the other hand, only those things that you stick with are going to really help you in the long run, so you need to be careful not to try to go too far, too fast when it comes to changes in any aspect of your diet and lifestyle.

I’ve made several  recommendations on how to improve your overall health and wellness. Some are very simple, such as taking Juice Plus+ and drinking plenty of water every day. Others, such as starting a regular program of physical activity, can be more involved.

Hopefully I have provided you with some basic information that will help you take better control of your health and wellness. Do not forget: there are no quick fixes. But there are some easy first steps that you can take. And any steps you take in the direction of a healthier lifestyle can pay big dividends down the road.

Elastic Bandages are something every body builder should have in the gym bag. As an amateur body builder, I also regularly carry a variety of athletic tape too. Never can be too prepared when going into battle!

Thanks for sharing Joe, not sure about what type of bandages you are referring to exactly or what you use them for while bodybuilding?
But what I do know about wraps, is that they are typically made of tensor type material and are fastened around wrists, knees and elbows using Velcro. People like to wear wraps for extra support. However, similar to weight training belts, it is best not to wear wraps at all especially if you have an injury or joint pain. Wearing wraps gives you a false sense of security. If you have problems with any of your joints, it is safer to avoid using wraps and skip the exercise instead.

      Yours in Health,
      Robin
